Asa Dotzler reports that there are new builds of Firefox 1.0.3 avaliable for testing. Most notably, the bug that adds multiple entries of Firefox in the Windows Add/Remove Programs should now be fixed.
    ----

However, if you intend to give feedback for the testing, then install this version over the existing version in order to check the Add/Remove list for multiple entries. (I can't believe I said that!)

The User Agent String shows the following for the Build:
    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050403 Firefox/1.0.3

Have you done that? I was thinking that only that way would work. But, considering that I always get a zip file first, I will check that out, first.
But, I started, first, by using the same profile as FF1.02. and, when I get done with that I may change to an installer (I can be chicken, after all)

    Westside,

Yes, I did that, shut my eyes, and double clicked the .exe files! ;) How else would we know whether or not the multiple entry bug in Add/Remove is really fixed? No double entries here.

I need to find some sites that require plugins now, so I can test that bug fix.
