    Hi all..

I'm interested in trying one of the Mozilla browsers but cannot decide which one is better for me! What's the difference between Firebird and Thunderbird?? I'm using a Win XP P4 2.4mhz PC with 512mb of ram if that's of any consequence.

Do these Mozilla browsers have the same features as my current Netscape 7.1 like built in e-mail, newsgroup reader, etc???

What will benefit me the most using a Mozilla browser??

    Many thanks!!

I just wanted to state, that thunderbird and firebird are two different things. Thunderbird is a standalone mail client, while firebird is a light browser based on the mozilla gecko engine.

you won't really gain any new features by switching from netscape 7.1, as far as I'm concerned. The netscape has the mail and browser intergrated. Plus I feel that thunderbird and firebird are too much in beta stages right now, while mozilla itself and netscape are much better choices.

All of this programs will run fine on your system. :)

Thanks, Kev! I guess i'm just trying to prepare for the inevitable. I refuse to use IE so when Netscape goes bye-bye Mozilla will say Hiya! :)

    Thanks again!
