I am running Windows 98 SE with Internet Explorer 6. Every time I use the "find in page" tool it disapears and clears my word if I leave the current page I am searching. Is there any way to make this box stay open when going from page to page, it is a real pain to have to keep opening it and typing the same thing to search for over and over. Thanks

I found that if I close the popup with the X[exit] rather than hitting the "cancel" button at the end of a "find on page" search I would have to retype the same word but if at the end of such a search if I hit the "cancel" button to close popup and than reopened it on another page search the typed word would be defaulted to or still typed in the dialogue line.

See if this holds true for yourself......
