 Where can I find info that explains what the different file extensions mean, & how to convert (to some other ext.), or open it??
When I try to open certain files, I get an alert that it can't be opened with the pgm or option I requested....

    Hey Jammer...

    Just adding onto noahdfear comments...

Click on this MS link. The page describes how associate or reassociate files and extensions with WinXP.

Click on this MS link for Windows 2000.

Click on this MS link for Win98 and ME

    Hope this helps...
