If I wanted to change an icon associated with a program how do you achieve this in Vista it so easy with XP as you could go to "Folder Options" and then select the "File Types" tab and from there alter the associated icon (as far as I can remember).

As I want to change the icon associated with MP11 for MP3's as showing the incorrect one, and ther are also a few other programe icons I need to alter.

Vista did away with that

There are some 3rd party tools that will do this, but I've not tried any.

I don't know about any FREE third party program to change FILE icons, but Folderico works well for FOLDERS in Vista.
