I'm cutting\pasting files and folders from an XP machine to a W2K machine. The operation is successful, and I can browse to the folder on the W2k machine from the XP machine, see the files across the network. But from the W2k keyboard I can't see the files. Conversely, some of the folders on the W2k machine can not be seen by the XP machine across the network. Feedback is much appreciated.

Are the respective drive(s) or folder(s) shared on the XP machine? Can you even see the XP machine on the network (from the Win2K machine)? The XP machine may not be a part of the correct workgroup or domain. Also, are you running XP Home or Pro? Same with 2000. Is it the Pro version?
