Ok, dumb question. I recently had Win2000 installed on my workstation and whenever I do a File Open in any application, the file listing box is in reverse order, Z to A. I can change it but it reverts back to this everytime.

How the heck do you change that preference?

    Thanks.

If you are in details mode in explorer, you have several coloums. Click the coloum header to change to order of appearance.

    Doesn't work

I understand I can resort them but the next time I do a File, Open, it's back to reverse order.
