file not found error after startup

when i start up windows on a pavilion hp 6553 error message calutildll windows needs this file to run c:/oplimit\ ocraware.exe what? dont know what to do to get this off screen or fix the problem need a hero !!!!

Welcome to the boards!
Ocraware.exe would appear to be OCR software program loading at startup and theres probably a reference to it in your c:\windows\win.ini file with load= where you need to put a semi-colon ; in front of that particular entry to stop it loading. Either that or reinstall/uninstall the Ocraware program depending on if you want/don't want it.

No...it's not something you need on boot up...it's to do with your scanning software.
You can try first...to go to run........then type in msconfig.....click ok.......and look under your start up tab.........for ocraware.exe. If it's there...uncheck it. Click apply...then ok......and it will ask you to reboot.
