File named "p" in WINNT directory

    Anyone else have this in their WINNT directory? It's a zero byte file with no file extension.

    I'm curious if it is just some strange anomaly.

    The PC is definitely adware free and I run an updated virus scanner all the time.

    I deleted the file with no adverse affects and it has not returned.

    I have restored this partition a few times, maybe it was just a random error in the backup image. :confused:
