A few (seemingly random) files have their name (and tag data) written in blue in Explorer. What does this mean?

    Cheers,
P.S. If you want a screenshot just ask.

    Hello taylor999,
    welcome to the Windows BBS ...... :) ...... !

Windows XP will compress files that haven't been accessed in a certain time. Other files such as backup files created when installing hotfixes and service packs will also be compressed. These compressed files are indicated by the blue color.
