    Hello~
When I try to move a .avi file (or delete), it says the file is in use but another program. I'm pretty sure there is nothing playing it, and pretty sure that the file has already finished downloading. I've also tried restarting my computer but the same message shows up.

So I was wondering if there's a way I can check to see what program is accessing what file.

    Thanks~:)

    Hello taki,

Try manipulating the file in safe mode - F8 key on boot up.

"wondering if there's a way I can check to see what program is accessing what file. "

There is software to see what .dll files and other processes a program is using, they are called process viewers, but not any AFAIK to see what data files are beeing used.

    Regards - Charles

My computer insists on F5 to get into safe mode, just in case you have problems. F8 only lets me choose my first boot device.
