Good Afternoon, I just installed a TP Link 54 m Wireless adapter. XP. The installation wizard gets to a step after reading files and tells me I need FILE ar5211.sys and allows me to click on the file to install it, but it apparently is not on the disc, and I dont know where it IS !! Can anyone help me with info on this problem? Thank you

Hi and welcome to the BBS,

Try the drivers from the TP-Link website
    http://www.tp-link.com/Download.htm

Some info I saw said it was a microsoft file. Try getting the hardware installer to look on the Win XP CD.

    Matt

search u'r installer CD for ar5211.* and note it's location w/:

    dir x:\ar5211.* /s

where x is the installer's drive letter.

once u know where it is, then supply that path when the error comes up.
