Where do you see the update? I know that it is being worked on, and that there are nightlies. Something must be afoot as for http://pub35.bravenet.com/forum/2994087922/show/562324 , K-Ninja2.01 was released today. It is based on rv.1.8.0.6.
http://www.mozillazine.org/ indicates that it fixed a WMP plugin regression. I would have never known, as I use the MediaPlayerConnectivity extention. Anyway, a new download is available, at mozilla.com, although the incremental update is not available, yet.
Incremental is available. It tried to break the Firesomething extention, fixed with the Mr Tech Local Install.
    Look also for Seamonkey1.0.4.

Update to 1.5.0.6 was automatic for me. So far as what's new, this quote is from the Mozilla website:

I just downloaded and installed it.
Works great except now all of the images on my Yahoo home page are blank.

A bit off topic ... but anybody got any ideas why that would happen ?
There doesn't seem to be any options on Yahoo to enable/disable images.

Because it is Yahoo? Seriously, if I have had problems, there have been Yahoo-related.

    sir gerald,

By any chance have you enabled "Load images for the original web site only "? That setting would be here: Tools | Options | Content
