XP - FF 1.04 - Tabbrower Extension and Tabbrowser Preferences.

Rules for loading Bookmarks are global. My preferred loading of a bookmark is
"Open bookmark in current view" (tab or window). For a couple of bookmarks, I would prefer they open in a "New Tab ". Is their a special setting / properties value one could assign to a individual bookmark to open in a new tab?
Currently when I want to override the global setting, I left click the bookmark, select "Open in new tab" and click. Hoping for a "1 click setting ".

    Dennis,

I don't have the savvy to figure how to do an individual bookmark. For the global setting, in about:config, change this setting to true:
browser.tabs.opentabfor.bookmarks. This is the opposite of what you want, but for the benefit of others...

It could be that the Tab Browser Extension will allow you to open an individual Bookmark in a new Tab.

I'll see if I can find anything else, as there are other mini extensions which might do exactly what you want.

    Greeting Dennis,

Maybe just a difference in MOUSE settings, but on my set up ....

Left click on bookmark opens in current tab... (browser.tabs.opentabfor.bookmarks=true)
    Right click opens context menu....

Contriol+left click opens bookmark in in NEW tab....
Shift+left click opens Bookmark in NEW window....

    Does that help any ?

    regards:captjlddavis

    Thanks guys

I have both extensions "Tabbrower Extension and Tabbrowser Preferences "
for some time. I keep going through their options, just can't find a solution for this one. I dropped the suggestion on "Tabbrowser Extension" forum. Might get lucky and the author will consider the option.
