    Hi-Ramona and all,
I found a disturbing problem with ff 3 !! I used the upgrade function from 2.14, on my 2 HD - it completely wiped out my robo form software!!!!
That's unacceptable! ff has always been compatible with robo form, why didn't they warn about add-ons being destroyed?
I'm waiting till I hear from siber systems before I upgrade, for sure...
Ramona, you hear anything about this.....Also - they didn't carry over my favorite theme - metal lion 300,,,,I really liked that theme!

It appears that you upgraded to FF3.0 by installing on top of 2.0.0.14. I would not do that unless they paid me. A lot of problems do occur when someone is trying to use what is, effectively, a hybrid. As for add-ons, I would check the roboform.com page. You should see what they have. There is a different adapter file for FF3.0 It is not a given that all add-ons or themes are compatible, when a major update occurs. The mistake made by many people is to consider the add-ons and themes as integral part of the program. This is not true. In fact, FF3 is blocking certain add-ons, as they are not secure.
Note: I, just, installed the latest Roboform adapter, which works in FF2.0.0.14, and I saw this in what's new: Version 6.9.89
    * Add support for Firefox 3.0 RC1. To me, this suggests that 3.0 final may not be supported. I will report if the .xpi for 3.0 is enough. Yes, it is enough, if the adapter is: 6.9.89. The .xpi is necessary.

    John,

The Release Notes for Firefox 3.0 state:

It's up to the creator of the extension or add-on to bring it up-to-date.. I just looked at the Roboform page, and there is now a version for Firefox 3.0:
    http://www.roboform.com/dist/roboform-firefox-3.0.xpi

That's what I was referring to. I did not give a specific link to the .xpi, for two reasons. One was that it is my understanding that one needs the proper Roboform.exe so that Roboform is installed. I, always, start with that, but the .xpi may be enough. The other reason was that the Roboform site indicated that it supported RC1. I commented on that fact. Later, I added that the .xpi was enough.

Super Westside! I wasn't correcting you, just adding what I saw on the page, as it wasn't clear to me that you actually installed the 3.0 version. :)
