I am running Windows 8 and FF just upgraded itself to 17.0.1. Since then I cannot load some web sites, such as Facebook, at all. it freezes the browser. I can load Facebook on Chrome with no problem, as well as the other web sites which FF freezes.
Also Adobe Flash ( 10.3) has totally stopped working.
Again, I can load it on Chrome
Is anyone else having these problems? how do I fix it? Can I ...should I...just go back to 16? which was working okay

Thanks in advance for any help.

You are behind on your Adobe Flash. It is now 11.5.502.135 Update Flash and see what happens.
