FF 1.0 / TBird Gmail POP3 / Crash on Refresh

    FireFox 1.0 / TB .9 / XP-Sp2

    Feature or bug - ?

    Have Gmail setup as a POP3 in TBird. Google settings were followed with exception to "Outgoing Server ", defaulting to my previous settings ... smtp.charter.net / port 25 / Use Secure connection "No ".

    The POP account appears to be functioning correctly, with the normal limitations of a POP3/Web connection and most Gmail features accessible from Web view only.

    I "think" I read somewhere in Goggle help, Gmail/Webview page auto-updates every 2 minutes ... I feel this is working correctly.

    BUT
    If I have TB open and Gmail WebView open and I "click" on browser "Reload/Refresh" tab, ALL open windows in FFox close and FFox is no longer loaded.
    IF TB is not loaded, the above action causes no problems.

    Just wondering if anyone else can duplicate the "feature or bug ".

    Why don't you try T-Bird 1.0? :)

    Remember the tbird you're using is still a beta, version 1 might fix some bugs :)
