fax machine installation error

    The following error comes up when trying to install the Brother MFC 7220

    Error Number 0x80040705
    Description: string accessed out of bounds
    Setup will now terminate


    IBM Thinkpad T43
    Windows XP Pro

    Did you google the error code or string accessed out of bounds?

    Have you searched on Brothers web site?
