C:\Users\Iulius\Links - exists and has all the normal links there

I`ve tried to delete it, and than resolve with shell:links ... but ain`t working

also restarted the system, and still nothing appears in the right "windows" except the title "Favorite Links" and "(Empty) "

I`ve managed to add something there by mistake, trying to add a shortcut to desktop, it appears i`ve moved the "desktop" link there, and this one was shown ( but everything which was in C:\Users\Iulius\Desktop disappeared from desktop ....as the new link for windows desktop was c:\users\Iulius\Links\Desktop ...folder with no file inside .... the folder c:\Iulius\Desktop\ was still there with all the files inside ) .... I`ve managed to undo this very easy

so from the previous "mistake" I`ve learnt that in the Favorite Links...if there are dragged "folders" ...no matter the name ( for example a new folder created on desktop if it is dragged to "fovorite links" - in fact is NOT created a link but it is moved there... and the "new folder" appears from that moment in "favorite links" )

so, any suggestion to solve the problem?

last time I`ve deleted my username and I`ve made a new one with the same name and moved all the stuff there back ...

Favorites holds your internet favourites. So if you go to Internet Explorer, click on Favorites, you will see a folder Links, this is the folder C:\Users\[User]\Favourites\Links. You can put internet website addresses into it.

C:\Users\[User]\Links appears to be a system directory. It has quite a few system "places" shortcuts (links?) inside.

One is for internet website "shortcuts ". The other is for "system places" shortcuts.

using this 2 steps I`ve solved the problem. Thank you very much

indeed, i was trying to remove that small arrow using a "X-Setup-Pro" which can export every setting in a reg file ( very useful for lots of PCs that needs to be taken care in a domain )

    :) thank`s again
