Favicon sites

    I have looked at many postings about Favicons not being displayed in Favorites but my proplem is that NO sites will display the Favicon including my own at http://www.bristow.paul.btinternet.co.uk/ which I know works because it looks okay using NS7 so why does IE6 refuse to reconise the icon in the ADDRESS bar.

    I have downloaded the program "Favorg" but all this did is made my Favorities (Bookmarks) look pretty.

    If anyone has any knowledge why this is it would be appreciated.

    I went to your link and added it to my favorites. Was shocked (just kidding) when I saw the Favicon.

    The Favicons are usualy soted in the temp int folder and get zapped if and when you delete your temp files. You might try zapping the related cookie & tem files & bookmark. Then add the bookmark back.

    :D It appears that deleting the files mentioned has made the Favicon appear again in my site, I think the proplem may have been that I imported some cookies from NS7 and these could have corrupted IE6
