I know there are plenty of threads dealing with this but none have solved my problem...

Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 7.0.6000.16575, time stamp 0x470c3339, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6000.16386, time stamp 0x4549bdc9, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0003b15f, process id 0x131c, application start time 0x01c8473422995dbd.

    Vista OS

Turning off tabs does correct it but is not the solution I want to use. :(

    Hi, mojo. :)

    1. Is your Vista OS 32-bit or 64-bit?
    2. Any details about when the error occurs?
    3. Does the error occur when running certain applications?
    4. How often does the error occur?
    5. Can you reproduce the error at will? If so, what action produces the error?
    6. Is the faulting application always iexplore.exe and the faulting module always ntdll.dll?
    7. Are there any other possible patterns you may have identified?
    8. When did the problem start occurring?
    9. Did you make any hardware/software changes around the time the problem started occurring?

What have you already tried (so we don't waste time and effort suggesting things you have already tried)?

Since there seem to be widespread causes and solutions, I'm afraid we're searching in the dark, especially without additional details about your problem.

I Googled Faulting application iexplore.exe ntdll.dll exception code 0xc0000005 and got "about 449" results. :(
