fatel esception

Hello out there, I have recently have had a fatal excetion occur on my home computor and would appreciate any help you can provide. It states at time of log on "a fatal exception has occurred at 0028:cofa6083 in vxd mcscan32(01)+ 00013a43 current application terminated" if any one can tell me how to correct this I would be eternally gratefull,it seems to have occurred after I did a file update with McAfee virus scan deluxe. Welcome to the board! I don't have a specific answer to your problem, only a suggestion. Go to Google.com and do a search for "vxd mcscan32(01) ". It returned about 80 hits for me. There are suggestions in there to try. Just go through all of the articles.

Basically, there seems to be a definite problem with the new update. Try some of the suggestions and let me know how you come out. Best of luck!
