Fatal Error 3 in CA eTrust ezAntivirus Download

    For the last day, I have been getting error messages that eTrust ezAntivirus "Update failed ". The Update Message says, "Fatal error 3, please see xxx.autodown.log ". That logfile says,

    Please see log file C:\Program Files\CA\eTrust EZ Armor\eTrust EZ Antivirus\autodown.log for more information.

    When I click Help on the Update Message window, I get, "It has been determined that the update cannot be completed at this time. This is most likely due to a temporary problem when attempting to contact the update server. It is recommended that you attempt the update again shortly." But this has been going on for about 12 hours now.

    Any help?

    Thanks Maggie, that did it. It remains a mystery why I kept getting error 3.

    It might not happen again. Sometimes I have to manually download an update and it seems to corrrect the problem.
