I set my FB account to be secure i.e. https. it all was well till today I get message from my two browsers FF & Chrome "This site is not secure do you want to proceed anyway?" I did this once but now I'm not so sure. what is going on? Is it no longer safe?
Sometimes I also get a 440 when going to FB and once got a message that I was trying to log on to Macmillian Dictionary - which I never even knew existed.

No idea on your problem, but funny part was that to test this, I had opened Facebook using the https://

Next time I went to facebook, it asked me if I wanted to change my setting to use the secure site instead :)

    FB lost security

well after 2 days https came back. Indeed your experience is very odd. what they would normally do is ask for you to write in a word or 2 to identify your computer so in case some other guy wants to hack in, but the strange thing is it allows you to use several computers as long as you give each one a different name. So I have an office & home box that I use to log into my account. Ahh FB.
