Over the past 4 weeks or so I get frequent occurrences of FB not being found or being spofed or the https not found. what's going on? Is FB so vulnerable?
    thanks

I've never had any problem with FB. Not with IE8, nor IE9.

I suggest you check your system for Malware & run IE without Add-ons.

This event happens with both Chrome & FF - I do not use IE. I did also do full scans with AVG & Adaware nothing found.
    thanks

FB not found or being spoofed

Chrome & FF give message to that effect advising me not to proceed as there is indication someone may be attempting something malicious by faking the FB site. often what happens is I lose the https and get just http.

    Try this:

    1. delete all temp files, form data, passwords, history, site preferences, etc in FF & Chrome.

    2. login to FB using: https://www.facebook.com/login.php
DO NOT CHECK "Keep Me Logged In ".

    3. access your FB account settings and change your password.

    4. access account settings again > accouint security section > put a check next to "Browse Facebook on a secure connection (https) whenever possible "

If still have FB issues then post a new thread in the Removing Malware forum after reading the sticky posts there.
