Hello, I hope I have used the correct letters to name problem. I'm about to do a clean install of my computer with my XP Pro . I changed the boot order by hitting F-12 and making Boot from CD first. Then popped in XP CD and waited for next step, did everything correct but after the "Users thing came up and asked if I approve hit F-8 nothing happened. If I hit ESC of course I am not accepting and PC just reboots...My Keyboard seems fine, all the keys are working, just not F-8???? Any ideas whats wrong, Have re-installed from this CD many times.
    Thanks,,
    Paul

I would try a PS2 keyboard and or go into the BIOS and enable the Legacy USB device option.

Hi Steve, thanks for your Reply. I did plug in a different keyboard into a USB port. My regular Keyboard that F-8 failed on is a Wireless Keyboard and mouse. I have used Wireless Keyboards and mice for years. Soon as I tried my other keyboard the F-8 worked and I was able to continue with my "Clean Install" of XP Pro. When finished I unplugged my keyboard that worked (F-8) and started using my wireless again and everything works fine but key F-8. I loaded software for Wireless Keyboard & Mouse.
Thanks Steve Jones for usual great help.
