EZAntivirus 7.0

Anyone using the new version? I got an email from eTrust, saying something about a security vulnerability in 6.x so upgraded last night. Seems to work well. It takes forever to scan the HDD, but maybe that's just because it's being thorough.

 

I am using it on one of my computers. I like it. The new GUI is appealing. I understand that it now scans archives and zipped folders. I also like that it updates automatically when you boot up or at a time you schedule. Of course you will find some people who can not adjust to change; so, they probably will not like it.

 

Also you can schedule the download more than once a day. I have mine set for every 8 hrs. Now I'm waiting for them to update EZArmor so I can stop editing the boot.ini.

 

After I updated and restarted my computer I got an the program caused an illegal operation and also that the "driverif.dll could not be found ". I uninstalled and went back to 6.3 and no error messages. What could be the problem with version 7 on my computer? TIA

 

Will it work with Netscape 7.2 AND will it scan Netscape's mail program? I know in the past that it would not work with Netcape (according to Sammy).

 

Well,I ended up uninstalling etrust all together(everything,everywhere) and than installed version 7. I am no longer getting the error message. I'm still not use to the new blue/white icon,keep thinking there is a strange program installed.
