External DVD burner drive letter changed

    I had a problem with my external DVD burner. Uninstalled the driver and reinstalled. Now the drive letter is H whereas before it was G. None of the software recognizes the H drive. Can I change the drive back to G? How?

    XP ....

    Right click My Computer icon > Manage > Disk Management

    Right click on the drive in question > Change Drive Letter and Paths.
