    Try using lavabit.com for both POP3 and SMTP servers...

    My settings for SMTP using OE6...

    Outgoing mail (SMTP) ->lavabit.com
    My Server requires authentication -> Ticked
    In settings...
    Use same settings as my incomiing mail server is selected.

    Try to send an email to wildfire @ lavabit.com and I'll let you know if I receive it.

    Just checked meteecee, I guess you get what you pay for, incoming mail seems to be ok but currently I can't send either. :(

    Many (most) ISP's block you from using 3rd party SMTP servers (on other networks). The usual 'work around' is to use port 587 (has to be supported on the mail server).

    Arie, I'd agree if your ISP provides SMTP facilities. Most which don't wouldn't block 25 as it would be a very big inconvenience to their customers.

    Pretty sure lavabit doesn't allow access via port 587...

    You could try windowsbbs with subscription or ask Steve for more information regarding gmail in your other thread
