I used to be able to export data in different types of delimited text format from within other excel versions, but now it only allows me to 'Save as' a text file and I am limited to a TAB delimited file.

Is there a way to specify which delimiter I can have in the saved/exported text file? I can't find anything under the Data menu (where it used to be, I believe). Now you can only import a delimited file in multiple formats there.

    thx.

You can still save you file using different delimited types, they just won't be text files.

You can save as CSV (Comma delimited)(*.csv)
or as Formatted Text (Space delimited) (*.prn)
and of course Text (Tab delimited)(*.txt)
