    Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum. I was wondering if there is a simple way for me to export the contact groups stored in Windows Mail to Outlook 2007. The reason I ask is my boss has given me the task of manually copying over about 5000 contacts, and 'm really hoping someone can suggest a quicker solution!

    Thanks!
    Kiran

Hi, thanks for your reply, but it wasnt quite that simple.

I followed your instructions, and now i have all 6870 contacts in my outlook 2007. However, in windows mail, they were grouped into folders in geographical order. In Outlook 2007, they're all in a single folder called 'contacts'.

Is there a way to directly copy over the contacts in their groups?

Apparently not...You can probably create the folders and drag the contacts over.
