Export the Word Dictionary

    Hi,
    I've switched Pc's and i need to transfer my Word 2003 dictionary that i've had for a few years. I've increased the Dictionary from time to time and haven't found a way to export it from the old Pc to my new Pc.
    Help.

    I guess you mean the Custom dictionary to which you have added words over the years?

    The file is Custom.dic and can be found at .....

    C:\Documents and Settings\Yourusername\Application Data\Microsoft\Proof\CUSTOM.DIC

    You will need to enable Show hidden files and folders to find it.

    Simply replacing the Custom.dic on your new PC with that one should do the trick.
