Over the last couple of weeks while on line, IE will crash resulting in the 'blue screen of death' and the message "cannot write to disk C ". This typically occurs one or twice during a one hour session on-line. I checked and disk C has almost half a GB free space. Is there a setting that needs changing? Ideas appreciated.

Have you tried going to Control Panel add/remove and see if Repair is available for IE6.

I do have this but I also understand that it may not be available on all systems.
