I have to upload a lot of photos for real estate. Each time I browse I have to tell the stupid operating system I want to look at thumbnails. Why can't it just stay there?

    Speaking from memory .....

In Windows Explorer go to your image folder and from the Views icon and select Thumbnails. Each time you return to that folder the images should be seen as thumbnails. You imply that this does not work?

Try the global setting - set your image folder as above to show thumbnails and then go to Tools > Folder Options > View and click on Apply to all Folders.

I am not sure if this will apply to the upload browser window as well.

    no

I have the rest explorer working fine. It's the Browse Explorer that does not cooperate. It's stuff like this that MS should have made more switches for.
