I frequently get the below error message when trying to open a folder to access files. Then it tells me to reboot, which doesn't do any good. What can cause this ?

EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
    module SHELL32.DLL at 0167:66801af2.

Finally mangaged to correct the problem.

Edited the Registry with reg edit.

    HKEY_USERS\.Default\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\streamsMRU

According to many BBS messages that I read, this key should have only 28 entries, mine had over a hundred. I deleted about half of them.

    What a difference now !!
