Whenever I open any folder or anything (I'm talking control panel or anything in "My Computer),
I get an error message that says "
This program caused an illegal opertaion and will shutdown. "

When clock "Details" This is what it says,

EXPLORER caused a General Protection fault in Module VGA.DRV at 0007:00001238.

I cant connect online for support (I'm on my other computer).

    I'm using WIN98 SE

In Safe Mode if you cannot do this in normal.
Start\Run, type in Sfc and press Enter. Select Extract one file from installation disk. Put C:\Windows\System\Vga.Drv into the little window and click on Start in Sfc. Another window opens, Restore from the WinCD or C:\Window\Options\Cabs if you have the Recovery CD and cannot find the windows install cab files. Follow the prompts.
Allow to save the old file in C:\Windows\Helpdesk\Sfc and create the folder if necessary. You will be prompted to reboot in order to use the extracted file.
