Explorer.exe very high in cpu

Ok so i ran some Windows Updates.

Install installed Microsoft Update first since it had the annoying notice on top. Then i proceed to install updates which there were

2 Office Updates 2003
1 Office 2003 SP2
1 Xbox360 Vision Camera Hardware Update.

After the computer reboot it crashed on the login screen and restarted itself.

When it restarted it then was going very slow.

Now everytime i use this PC explorer.exe is around 20%>80% and "System" is around 20% in CPU usage.

This makes the computer go extremely slow!!!

What can i do to repair this? and why did this happen?

 

How do i find my update history?

 

I think it was the Xbox360 Driver that is cuasing this. Because it just did it again and i got a "WindowsXP recovered from a serious error" and it took me to a page when i sent the report.

I was going to try System Restore but it said my C Drive wasn't being monitered!

I checked and it said F was only being monitered and i couldn't even select my C for system restore.

I did a sfc /scannow but now i can only get into my computer using windows domain services....

All other give me a blue screen (EVEN SAFE MODE!)

one of the blue screen had this error.

It's all fixed.

I did a search on the Blue Screen Error i got and it referred me to the Verifier.exe program which when i deleted all existing settings it now runs fast again and no more problems.
