Explorer.exe protection fault

First of all, I know nothing..........2nd I have been working on this for 8 hours and I am nowhere even after trying to find a forum or google or anything other than my last resort of asking for help..... 3rd, my printer works.

With this in mind, when I go to print I get this message: Explorer.exe
Function address 0x68f0529a caused a protection fault
(exception code 0xc0000006) some or all property pages may not be displayed.

Then it does a recovery and want's to know if I want to send it microsoft error reporting......and I can't print.
And.....my printer is the default printer but it's saying it's offline and when I select properties, it goes to the error message.

Please help, because my computer is about to go out the window.
