Explorer 10 won't lauch

    IE10 will not launch and when I tried to uninstall and reinstall, it was not listed on my program list for uninstall. However, it does appear in the list for "turn Windows features on and off." I have already tried a system restore and Explorer will still not launch.

    I guess you are using Windows 7?

    If you open Task Manager > New Task and type in iexplore.exe does it open?

    You will not find Internet Explorer in Programs & Features because it is an update.

    You will find it thus ....

    Control Panel > Windows Update > View Update History > See Installed Updates

    Type Internet Explorer in the 'Search Installed Updates' box to reveal Internet Explorer 10.

    Hi ahockeyluvr, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

    Adding to what Pete said, in the Start search box if you type iexplore -extoff and hit enter does Internet Explorer open then?

    Have you tried booting the computer into Safe Mode with Networking and seeing if Internet Explorer opens there?
