Excel Won't Retain Font Color Settings

Hello,
I have a client who is experiencing problems with the installation of MS Excel (2007). She can change the contents of a cell to -say - red but when she hits the Enter Key, the font color reverts to black. If she gets a spread-sheet from her co-worker & there is a cell, row or column with the contents using the red color - actually, it can be any color -those contents will be displayed using the font color of black.

She says that this is a recent occurrence so it sounds like she has changed some setting or option somewhere. Any suggestions?
