Resolved Excel error: stodle32.tlb

    I am running Office 2007 Excel. When I try to open it I get this stodle32.tlb with a yellow exclamation mark and when I click OK it goes and tries to reconfigure itself before it opens. I changed permissions in the registry to Everyone, full control and red. But the problem still persists.

    I followed the procedure in the MS page of the link and restarted the computer. The error message still appeared and everything on the computer slowed down. So I thought my only choice left is to uninstall Office 2007 and reinstall it. When I did that, everything including Excel worked like a charm.
