Excel (copy and paste)

I have to do a lot of copying and pasting from one excel sheet to another and sometimes I have to copy sheets into word.

The problem I have is that when ever i try to paste the sheet into another sheet I allways get a message saying the the data isn't the same size.

Is it possible to copy from one sheet or paste into another and maintain the size of the cells so that I get an exact duplicate of the sheet I have just copied from.

Are you talking about copying all of the information from one sheet into a new sheet? If so, use Select All (CTRL+A or click on the box above row 1 and to the left of column A). Copy your sheet and then go to the new sheet. Click in the box above 1 and left of A on the new sheet to select all, and then paste. Everything should remain in tact.

If you only want to do part of a sheet, select and copy that part, and then right-click on the cell where you want to paste the info and select Paste Special. This will give you several formatting choices to paste things properly. Unfortunately you can only select on at a time. (You do not need to copy over and over, though.)
