I'm copying down a series of numbers from a written log. Each number is a 6-digit sequence that counts up to a certain point and resets, which means record #1 is recorded as 000001.

Is there a custom cell format I can create in Excel to fill the left with 0? Make it check for 6 digits, and if there aren't, add 0s until there are?
