Windows Vista Everything has disappeard

    I hope someone can help me, my computer has windows vista home premium. recently everthing dissappeard of the desk top i could access my files via the OS (C:) but now i cant log on to the profile at all im currently on the guest profile and cannot access the admin files, when i enter the password the window disappears and nothing happens. i checked my computer for viruses and everything was clear.

    I really need help with this i dont really know alot about computers or computer terms so if you can help please keep it simple i am blonde :D lol and i have important files i really do need

    Most probably your profile is corrupt. The files are still there but you just can't access them.

    Try to boot in Safe Mode - When the computer starts, press F8 button. A list of choices should appear. Select "Safe Mode" & press enter. See if you can login & see your data. If you can, backup to a pen drive or another hard disk.
