Everytime I boot up, I get the following error in my System Event Folder:

The value named IRPStackSize in the server's Registry key LanmanServer/Parameters was invaild. The value was ignored, and processing continued.

Any advice on how to correct or fix would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
I get some weird errors in my event log as well, but as long as your windows works fine then i'll say don't bother with it.

    Thanks,

Everything is working fine, but I was wondering what it was.

How do I convert to the decimal radix, the value was 4294967290 or fffffffa.

I think I might just upgrade to NAV 2002, (since I run 2000 and XP duel boot, and XP causes problems with Norton in 2001), that might fix it.

    Thanks for all your help.

Just right-click IRPStackSize and choose Modify. Move the radio button from hexadecimal to decimal, enter the value of 11 and OK out.

    Works

The setting value of 11 did it. Thanks :)
