I don't know if this is the proper place for this so...

Almost everyday I'm starting to get this Eurekalog box popping up and telling me about an error of 'invalid hook handle.'

My computer then freezes and I can only access task manager through ctrl-alt-del.

This has happened numerous times... Anyone know what this newest piece of junk is? Why does it freeze my computer?

    Thanks for any help!

    Here is the program:

    http://www.eurekalog.com

Try to uninstall it, if not successful go to the forums on their site and find out how to remove it. Hope this helps.

Eurekalog apparently gets buried into other applications so it is difficult to find, but I did find the file type extension where it stores its reports. A file search led me to the application it was buried in.

For others that might encounter this, the application was "inetformfiller"

To give credit where the credit is due I got the info from
    http://www.experts-exchange.com/Operating_Systems/Q_21139879.html

    Additional Notes:
(at least in the case of the original poster from within the link I supplied)

Question: What is the log file's extension?
Answer: It is *.ELF (EurekaLog File).
(This will be needed if you have to do a file search such as, the link provided indicated, that the poster had done to track this down).
