eTrust EZ Antivirus

I have been using eTrust EZ Antivirus for quite a while now with no know problems.

Today when I went to update in my usual fashion I keep getting the following message.

"Auto Download received an invalid response see "---

C:\Progra~1\CA\ETRUST~1\Auto Down Error.txt---

When I go to that file I get 3 lines that say--

ERROR QUERY

Can anyone tell me what's happening?

And the same problem here yesterday and into today. My version is also 6.1.7.0. You can download updates, at least for this version, manually from their ftp site here:

ftp://ftp.cai.com/pub/myeTrust/sigs/10.5

I've had problems with them before. It's one of the reasons I'm now going with the new beta version of AVG. It's really quite a nice program. You should check it out if you get the chance.
