Resolved Esata Vs Esata Express

I am going to put an ESATA PCI card in my computer.
I notice that their are some ESATA pci cards and some are Esata Express cards.
What is the different between the two cards?
I noticed that the express card is faster.

 

In the image below, (click it), the images labeled 2, 5 and 9 are Express Cards; the other six are PCI cards.

 

I know what the different in the way the cards look like.
What, I want to know is what is the different in the way they function. What is the advantage of getting an esata express over esata in pci card

Solved,Esata express is faster storage speed,so I am going with that.
One must also have an express pci card slot, (I have Two) as they are different from the regular pci slot. I am going try it out and also put me a usb 3.0 pci card. Then I should be fast external storage.
