errors

    I have just reformatted my hdd and just put windows and some antivirus software on and i keep getting problems when installing programs and games i get CRC errors from files on CD's and after downloading several programs i get problems when trying to install Cab files. I went to a website and it showed me how to get rid of the problem using msconfig but windows 2000 dosnt have msconfig so is there a different way to stop it please.

    Welcome to the boards. If you need an msconfig utility for 2000, you can use this. If you gave us the exact error messages, perhaps we could help more?
