Hey guys, I am running Windows XP Pro and I have been having some problems installing programs. For a while everything installed just fine but recently I have been getting errors when trying to install many programs. Some of them inlcude Thunderbird and the Logitech iTouch software. I have no idea what would cause this but it is really a pain. Is my only choice a re-install?

Always the same error or different ones?

Post back with the exact wording of the most common error messages you're getting. Some don't tell you anything unless you click the "Show details" button.

    Run a chkdsk /f first.
